Connecting Church is an AWESOME, THRIVING, GROWING, LOVING, church in the Washington D.C. Metro Area, more specifically in Waldorf, MD. Our mission is to create engaging environments where people far from God can learn, trust and follow Jesus. We are finally back to in-person worship after a 3 year hiatus due to COVID, and we need your help!

We cannot do ministry alone! We are looking for passionate people that want to be a part of what God is doing not just in the DC Metro Area, but around the world! If you connect with our mission and vision, then please join us! Help us take this region for Jesus. We alone cannot spread the word enough to efficiently reach as many people as possible. That is where our Core Team comes in. One of the most important roles that the Core Team will play, is getting the word out and getting people excited to come and experience God at Connecting Church! Tell your friends, tell your family, share us with your friends on social media, tell your co-workers, tell anyone who even looks in your direction! Our goal is to have each person on the Core Team tell at least ten people a week that Connecting Church is here and that it's an authentic, powerful, amazing and exciting place to worship our God.

The more hands, feet, and voices we have on our team, the better chance we have of making our presence known in these cities! Church to us, is not about filling seats. It is about gathering as many people as possible to introduce them to Jesus, and help them fall in love with the God who created them and who loves them.

As a Core Team member, we will utilize your passions and giftings in the areas listed below, in order to place you in an area that you will find fulfillment in serving.

If you are interested in making a difference in your community and finding your life's calling, you may want to consider joining our Core Team. We believe that being a part of what God is doing is a calling, as well as a privilege. Above all, it is a chance to be empowered! The commitment that we ask for is simple. Everyone will play a different part and we all have different schedules. So there are only three main things that we ask of you:

 

1. To  regularly attend scheduled Core Team meetings. 

2. To sincerely work on your friends and family to become a part of our Core Team and or Church as well.

3. To support Connecting Church with your time, lots of positive communication, and any resources you feel led to share.
